Run Ticket
Run Ticket is a record of the quantity of oil removed from a stock tank into a pipeline or tank truck. A run ticket will generally have measurements such as opening and closing volumes, observed gravity and temperature, BS&W and a date & time. Usually the tickets are made in triplicate and filled out by a gauger employed by the purchaser.
How it’s important to us
Run tickets are essentially to daily operations of onshore wells. They provide an accurate estimate of what an interest holder is actually putting into the pipeline, and therefore expects to be paid for. Collection of run tickets is a frequent need for electronic field data capture, and could be accomplished by arming the truck driver with a mobile device on his daily ticket runs.
